The American Swedish Institute has received a Minnesota State Arts Board grant which will provide full funding for their program, A Year of Swedish Slöjd (Handcraft).  This grant also provided them enough funds for the purchase of a kiln.

ASI will be working with Foci MCGA and glass artist Mark Hall to have collaborative workshops in the Spring of 2011 for youth and adults as a part of this program
