This exhibit features more than 200 pieces of art glass chosen from the American Swedish Institute’s permanent collection and from works by Midwest American glass artists. It highlights parallels between these local artists and Swedish glass masters. The artwork will be presented in four galleries and several period rooms throughout the 100-year-old Turnblad mansion. Hallmark Glass once again participated in the RiverCrossings art fair in motion in early October. The studio was hopping all weekend with people, glassblowing and beadmaking demonstrations, and a make-your-own fused bowl station. Everyone enjoyed the creative energy as well as the delightful weather and nummy treats. Thank You to all of you who stopped by to say HI! See pictures from this year's event... |
